Insurance & Payment Options

Insurance Plans We Accept

We accept several major vision and medical insurance plans, including Allegiance, Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Medicaid, Eye Med and VA benefits. Coverage details vary by plan, and in some cases we may accept the medical portion of a plan without participating in its separate vision network. Because every policy is different, we recommend reviewing your specific benefits before scheduling your exam. Our staff can help verify your coverage in advance, so there are no surprises when you arrive for your appointment.

The Eyecare Savings Plan

Do not have vision insurance? Our in-house Eyecare Savings Plan gives uninsured patients access to comprehensive eye care savings, without the wait or paperwork of a traditional insurance plan. Members enjoy no co-pays and meaningful annual savings on exams and eyewear, while still receiving the same quality, personalized care every patient receives at our practice. It is a simple way to keep your eyes healthy on your terms.

Payment Methods We Accept

We keep payment simple and convenient. Our office accepts cash, personal checks, and all major credit cards, including Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express. We also accept CareCredit, a healthcare credit line that lets you spread the cost of care over time. Insurance copays are due at the time of service, and full payment is required for items not covered by insurance, such as eye drops, contact lens solutions and non-prescription sunglasses. We are happy to answer any billing questions before your visit.

Using FSA and HSA Funds

Many of our services and eyewear purchases qualify for Flexible Spending Account and Health Savings Account funds. These pre-tax dollars can often be combined with your vision insurance benefits, stretching your coverage further for exams, glasses and contact lenses. If you are unsure what your plan covers or how to apply it at checkout, our billing team can help you sort it out. Making the most of these benefits is one more way we help make quality eye care affordable.

What to Bring to Your Appointment

To keep your visit efficient, please bring your current insurance card, along with any billing address and payer ID information listed on it. This helps our team submit claims accurately on your behalf and confirm your benefits before you are seen.
